Internet Safety for Kids and Parents

The following are links to Internet safety sites that we could share with our students and children:

FBI-Kids Safety
http://www.fbi.gov/fun-games/kids/kids-safety

GCF-Internet Safety for Kids
http://www.gcflearnfree.org/internetsafetyforkids

Kids Health- Internet Safety
http://www.gcflearnfree.org/internetsafetyforkids

There are many more websites that address Internet safety and are made for kids. Parents and teachers can also get a lot of information that would be useful to teach our students/children. As teachers, we can make time to go through some of the Internet safety information.

  2. That was a very thoughtful posting. It is always good to be knowledgeable for both positive and negative uses of the Internet. We can protect our children only if we know what to be aware of and how to deal with situations when they arise. Thanks, Tish.
