Teachers should not just teach, we must also be creative enough to enhance learning in our classrooms. One way of having our students learn if to show them how to do things like how to cook, make a sushi, or fold an origami using that way not only they will remember that but they could also used that as a way of living in the future and inspire them. Involvement in a study promotes better understanding in a subject as you will have a deeper knowledge about the process. So we teachers must not just do lectures and talk in front of our class, sometimes our student will get bored try to involve them by doing games and stuffs once in awhile to stimulate their minds.

  1. I really like this quote. Very true we should not just sit behind our desk and teach. We have to find ways to be creative when teaching something to our students. We can't expect them to learn and fully understand the concept as we just sit or stand and teach. Keep in mind that not all students are the same and learn the same way.

    Thanks for sharing!

  2. Right on for that concept. Meaningfulness of what is learned is important and it can be reinforced with participation or involvement in the activities relevant to the newly learned information. Then, the life-long retention can be expected, indicating that learning actually takes place and teaching becomes worthwhile.
