Educators serves as a role model to their students. Students look up to their professors
and most of the time they usually take some of the habits of the teachers and apply it in
their own daily lives. So we as educators should always practice what we teach.
Mark, that is an awesome post!
ReplyDeleteYep very powerful message. Be a leader not a follower. Thank you Mark for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYes, educators always say this line: "Be a Role Model". As teachers, we always point out students who are leading by good example. Such positive reinforcements are necessary.
ReplyDeleteLove your post Mark! This really hits home as a teacher. I can think of days when you feel like you have reached your last straw... Taking in a few deep breathes and deciding what would be the best action and attitude to respond back to students in certain situations. Thanks for sharing! I think I might post this on my wall for one of those days.
